A Century of Craft

Est. Bologna, 1919

A Century of Craft

Founded by Giuseppe Zanini in Bologna, Ancora has spent over a century perfecting the art of the writing instrument. Each pen is an heirloom — shaped by hand, finished with an 18-karat gold nib crafted entirely in-house, and built to last a lifetime.

Every Ancora pen bears the mark of Italian heritage — where tradition and precision meet in every stroke.

Wonderfully quiet pen indeed

Have been collecting pens for years and the detailing really sets it apart from anything else. Lovely buy with zero regrets.

Such a splendid little piece

Took a chance on a small brand and people keep asking about it in every single meeting. Already planning my next order.

Glad I chose this purchase

Bought it for signing contracts at work and fitted my pen perfectly without any fuss at all. Already planning my next order.

Timeless cool purchase

Have been collecting pens for years and the line they lay down is dark and very clean. Lovely, no notes from me.

Such a gorgeous little treasure

Ordered after my colleague kept showing hers and they install in seconds and last several weeks easily. Lovely build and lovely service.

Wonderfully characterful treasure indeed

Carried it through a Paris trip and the line they lay down is dark and very clean. Brilliant from clip to tip.
